Directions for use of the pump BOY C30 with Kaloxi

Implementation of dosage in connection with cleaning of the whole heating- or cooling plant:

  1. Empty the plant of a volume of liquid corresponding to the volume of cleaner you want to feed into the system. A water gauge should be used.
  2. One of the pump's hoses shall be connected to the plant, for example the boiler's tap or another free tap in the system. Adapters are enclosed. Remember to tape the nipples.
  3. Position the handle of the pump to point at the hose you want the water to be pumped through.
  4. Feed the pump with cleaner (use a funnel or pump directly from for example the cask pump)
  5. Start the pump with the switch on the pump's side. The cleaner is now being fed into the plant.
  6. Remember not to drive the pump at a higher temperature than 50 degrees Celsius or to drive the pump when it is dry.
  7. Let some clean water go through the pump after dosage.

When heat exchangers, radiators, heating coils, heating elements and similar equipment are cleaned:

  1. Empty the equipment to be cleaned of all the water (if it is not to large) or of a volume of water corresponding to the volume of cleaner you want to feed into the system.
  2. Connect both hoses to the equipment to be cleaned so that the cleaner will circulate through the equipment and the pump, for example:
    Radiator: input- and output connection.
Heating element: cold water input- and hot water output connection.
Heat exchanger: secondary circuit input- and output connection.
  3. The liquid can flow in both directions alternately.
  4. Start the pump and dose the cleaner into the equipment, refill with water.
  5. Start the pump with the switch on the pump's side. The cleaner is now being fed into the plant.
  6. Remember not to drive the pump at a higher temperature than 50 degrees Celsius or to drive the pump when it is dry.
  7. Let some clean water go through the pump after dosage.

Do not drive the pump with other chemicals or cleaners.

Remember to flush well after cleaning!
